CSS is the language in which the stylistic properties of a web page are described. I am very experienced in the use CSS to separate content from presentation, and have been working with CSS for a number of years.
HTML is the primary language in which a websites content is described. Without markup, the meaning of the content is not apparent and automated services, such as search engines and accessiblity tools, can not understand the content. The markup of your page is important to human users too.
I have been working with HTML since 1998 and have a considerable amount of experience with other markup languages.
